Janet Andrews

Partner and business consultant with widespread international experience including long periods working in the Middle East, USA and France. Worked with Al-Fayed Investment & Trust for over 20 years with responsibility for high value projects in Dubai, Paris, St Tropez and New York and a multi-site project throughout central Europe. Sector expertise includes construction, hotels, leisure and private aviation. Assignments have included two diverse financial recoveries, the first in the very competitive stationery and office equipment sector, and the second in the European FMCG sector.

- Trained as a revenue accountant in the USA with TWA and was appointed the youngest ever training manager

- Member of the project management team that constructed and commissioned the Dubai Dry Dock and Trade Centre

- Worked on the acquisition team that acquired The Ritz in Paris, on behalf of the Al-Fayed organisation. Subsequently had joint responsibility for controlling an international group of craftsmen engaged on the major refurbishment project

- As the European Projects Administrator for Ster Century Cinemas, oversaw the deployment of SAP to support the financial administration for the construction and fitting out of 22 multi-plex cinemas in Central European countries. Responsibilities included the specification, deployment and acceptance testing of the SAP modules across a multi-national company

Qualified as a Revenue Accountant and is very good at skating on thin ice as befits a former European competitive figure skater.
