Jerry Green

Became an independent consultant in Product Data, Document and Web Site Management in April 2002. As a consultant, has integrated data from three data management systems into a fourth and provided read only web access to documents and drawings without the need for PC client installation. Has also configured systems and provided training to meet clients' requirements.

Prior to becoming an independent consultant, managed Product Data Management systems (including Sherpaworks, Sherpa PIMS and HP DMS). Gained experience in justifying, evaluating, introducing and supporting these systems into Aerospace System, Microwave Material and Optical Component businesses of GEC Marconi.

As Assistant Chief Mechanical Engineer, managed Drawing Office and Configuration Management and recognised the need for CAD and PDM systems.

Before joining GEC-Marconi served in the Royal Air Force in a number of roles including managing aircraft maintenance and accepting the configuration of aircraft entering service to MoD, DoD and European standards.

Gained a BSc in Aeronautical Engineering and qualified as a Chartered Engineer.
