Phil Comelio

In September 2002 set up Comelio Consulting Limited, an independent software consultancy, to provide specialist skills and experience in the production and delivery of complex software systems that require systems integration and bespoke development.

At Digital Wireless Telecommunications was Head of Professional Broadcast Software Development with project management responsibility for the software delivery of RadioScape's range of professional Digital Audio Broadcast Projects. To achieve the aggressive timescale, introduced a formal development process based upon RUP (Rational Unified Process) and UCM (Unified Change Management) using tools such as Rational Rose, RequisitePro, ClearQuest and ClearCase. Also developed specialist departments for Technical Publications, Quality Assurance and Customer Support.

At Sherpa Corporation was the Software Development Manager, based in the Californian HQ, for the Sherpa family of PDM products and was responsible for the development and commercial release of the product from user interface to database access. Prior to this, worked in the UK as a Senior Technical Consultant providing implementation and support services to customers and prospects throughout Europe. Specific tasks included Project Management of Sherpa implementations at international customer sites, development of tightly coupled integrations, and the development of the System Administration Course.

Gained a BSc in Engineering Science and Industrial Management.
