The Knowledge Management Needs Assessment provides an independent review of your continuity risks

Description

The Knowledge Management Needs Assessment is a project conducted within your organisation which identifies continuity risks and prioritises them.

Deliverables

The Needs Assessment requires our assessors to spend some 2 days at your organisation, interviewing your staff and reviewing some of your processes and systems.  The report output of the Needs Assessment will normally be available within 5-7 working days following the on-site interviews.

The report will be delivered and presented by the assessors so that your staff has an opportunity to ask questions raised by the analysis.

Who will benefit

The Needs Assessment is intended to provide a review of the continuity risks associated with Knowledge Management in your organisation.  Typically, the Needs Assessment will interest senior executives or managers who have a responsibility for Business Continuity.

The prioritisation approach used in the Needs Assessment is particularly well adapted to the needs of Business Continuity management because the analysis of Needs sets out clearly the risks associated with the status quo and prioritises the importance of the range of different risks.  This is an ideal tool for the manager in a hurry who wishes to undertake an independent review of this area.

Your organisation does not need to have a Knowledge Management system in place in order for the Needs Assessment to deliver significant value in the assessment of continuity risk.

Price

The Knowledge Management Needs Assessment is scoped for your organisation, but is typically between £3,000 - £6,000, plus travel and accommodation expenses incurred in the delivery of the Assessment.
